The image was made to ahow show unemployment. These people are definetly unemployed and have nothing to do but ather up and talk, sit.

It was probably made in the middle of the Great Depression when many people were unemployed and life was very boring without money or jobs.

I see two men pushing a truck which is probably out of gas.
What do you notice first?
I notice that there are men in the middle of the street pushing a truck out of gas. There are other towns people, cars and buildings around them.
What people and objects are shown?
You see cars, people, (two men), an old town and very old car models. There is an old gas station and probably a dirt road.
Why do you think this image was made?
It shows that someone ran out of gas in their car and they need someones help to push it. The main point is that life was not easy. It was rather dificult and there is also a slight chance that they didn't refill their car because of the price.
